Site hosting

Static site hosting with no separate server

Host a static site or SPA on your own domain right inside the WebShield infrastructure — with CDN caching, WAF and bot protection, just like proxied sites. No origin server required.

Delivery traffic

Counts toward the plan limit

Serving the site is billed as the domain's traffic

Static site hosting is part of every protection plan and is not billed separately. The limits: up to 1 GB per site and up to 100 MB per file. Serving the site counts toward the domain's overall traffic limit. No separate server and no extra fee for it are needed.

How it works

Upload the built site from the control panel or from CI and press «Publish» — WebShield takes an immutable snapshot of the version, switches DNS to its own network and issues a TLS certificate. Visitors immediately get the new version from the nearest edge node; the cache is cleared automatically on every publish.

What's included

No separate origin server

Files are stored in the WebShield infrastructure and served directly. No web server to run and maintain — just upload the built site.

Protection like proxied sites

The same protection layer: WAF and attack signatures, bot protection (browser check or captcha), rate limiting and network-level bans of abusers.

CDN delivery and atomic publish

Content is cached on the edge nodes closest to the visitor. Each publish is a new version: the cache clears itself and visitors never see a half-updated site.

Ready for site generators

Presets for Hugo, Jekyll, Astro, Gatsby, Next.js export, SPA and plain HTML: clean URLs, a 404 page and SPA mode are tuned to your generator.

Publishing from CI

A publish token limited to this site only: build and deploy from GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins and other systems, and from any pipeline via our CLI. Incremental upload of only changed files for large sites.

Publishing from your own S3 bucket

Upload the site to your own object-storage bucket with any S3 tool (rclone, aws, s3cmd) and publish straight from there.

Publish your site in a minute

Created from the control panel — upload files or wire up publishing from CI.
